After passing through various public spaces of Madrid and Barcelona (Aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat, among others), the exhibition "SOLO THINGS - Cultural and Social Responsibility" with paintings and sculptures by Josep Puigmartí, now moves to the Forum of Cultures in Barcelona. The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday October 6th at 12:00 am on the grounds of the Diagonal Mar Shopping Center ( see location map ).
The huge impact his work is having and the fact that through them the public feel more sensitive to the environment, has enabled this original idea which has turned into a traveling exhibition that never ceases to amaze wherever it is exhibited.
This is, undoubtedly, a source of pride for the artist and for those who work with him at Studio Puigmartí and at his homeplace in Hotel Estela Barcelona - Art Hotel in Sitges.
This exhibition will provide a framework for the presentation of the Barcelona Forum District, the new business area, social activities and cultural events, formed by a group of companies, friendly with the environment, socially responsible and culturally very active. Companies interested in moving this emerging citizen space as the core generator of large-scale business, social and cultural rights. This will be done by creating a space/brand in Barcelona fully identified with companies, institutions and citizens' associations located around the Forum, taking into account values/concepts of social responsibility, cultural and environmental issues, and that both generate a flow of customers, visitors and participants tailored to each business sector of this area.
